Pricing questions answered
Do I need a credit card to sign up for the free plan?
No. The free plan requires only an email address. No credit card is ever asked until you choose to upgrade.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. You'll retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
What happens if I exceed my monthly scan limit?
On the Free plan, processing stops until the next calendar month. Pro and Business users receive an in-app warning at 80% usage, and can purchase additional scan packs without upgrading.
Do unused scans roll over to the next month?
No. Scan allocations reset on the first of each calendar month and do not roll over.
Is the API included in the Pro plan?
Yes. Pro includes 1,000 API requests per month. Business includes 10,000. Additional requests are billed at $0.005 per page.
Does TextLens offer discounts for students or non-profits?
Yes. Students with a valid .edu email get 50% off Pro. Registered non-profits get 40% off. Contact us at hello@textlens.ai with proof of eligibility.
